They descend upon an unassuming storefront, each one hoping, praying, and sometimes outright begging to study under the expert ear of one woman – Linda Septien. For 21 years, the former opera singer has been spinning raw talent into pop star gold. From pressure-packed auditions and bickering stage moms to fateful meetings with label reps, plastic surgery and concert tours, nothing is off-limits for these talented teens. The performances are inspirational and the emotions are raw, as these wide-eyed kids try to make it in a business that can be as brutal as it is lucrative.
